No. As long as the guys is cool about it. There should be no reason to look down on your significant other. Now if the guy starts to be a jerk about it and maybe tries to take advantage of the fact that she makes more money. Then yeah I'm sure the girl would look down on him - but not because she makes more money, because of his attitude.

No. I made more than my ex husband and I enjoyed spending money on him and going out and treating. It did however bother him and he had a issue with me after.

I'll never understand how any guy can feel bad about his wife or girlfriend making more money than him! I say more power to you! It has nothing to do with feelings, unless you have some sort of power complex going. If you are in love, money doesn't matter a damn as far as who makes it!
