Guys, is it a turn off if you go out with a white girl who acts hood or a black girl who acts white? And may think that they are not being themselves or something?

i went out with a bisexual white girl who really was hood.. sexy as hell.. best sex of my life..

a black white girl can also be cute.. very sexy and classy actually.. it's just that most black girls have this complex and think that white guys would never date them because they're black..

Question Asker White guys don't look at us or that attratcted to us and they don't date us or if they are seeing us, they keep it behind doors. You see black men with whirte women all the time out and about and you hardly see that with white guys and balck girls. I think to most guys especially white guys don't think we are pretty enough and they seem happy with there white women. Plus, I think we intimidate them with our strong personalities and common attitudes(not all have attitude but most blk women do) - 2 months ago
Answerer So wrong.. see what I mean.. black women just feel and think that way.. that's not at all what the reality is.. if by strong personality you mean demanding and loud.. then probably as intimidating as a barking tee cup terrier.. white girls have way more of an attitude and sense of entitlement (aka. princess complex).. and yes.. white guys are attracted to black women.. and they would definitely feel proud to have a classy sexy girl next to them.. for as long as SHE's comfortable too.. - 2 months ago
Question Asker Then why you hardly ever see it? I;m telling you, most white guys just don't look at us. - 2 months ago
Answerer Fair question..

think about it.. hood with hood.. black guy white girl..
- do they care what people think?
- do they care about taboos?
- do family issues come into play?
most likely not.. so nothing is stopping them..

classy with classy.. white guy with black girl..
all the stuff mentioned above comes into play.. and even though the white guys ARE looking at you.. ARE interested in you.. they know that huge family and social pressures make it hard for the two of you to be together.. - 2 months ago
Question Asker Exactly my point to why they may be looking at us but not really looking at us. Its hard enough for blk guys/white girls being seen together who still have it hard with there families accepting because it is interracial period. White women come after blk men and go against what there families want because they are curious about the whole myth thing about a blk mans package and them being athletes too turns them on as well becuase of fine physique and possible money gain and talent. but what do we attract - 2 months ago
Answerer Someone who doesn't want to attach himself to an ungreatful lazy useless paracitic luxury item that will depreciate by her 25th year of life? someone who doesn't want to give an other human being a free pass on life by being her personal workhorse? someone who wants a real woman and not an indirect prostitute? and he wants all that because he has much to offer.. or else if he didn't.. he wouldn't care.. that's the kind of man you attract.. - 2 months ago
Question Asker To white guys? our vuluptious curves. that's it. there is no common myth you hear about how good it would be to be with us. All you hear is negativity and a lot of white men hear this and see it too and we are just not as attractive to them. Black men know because they have been with us for some time but white guys never hardly stepped out to try something new like blk men and white women have. oh, its all hard for both to be seen but white girls have been sneaking out with blk men for years - 2 months ago
Answerer It's starting to sound like you're more p*ssed off about white girls taking your black guys.. than white guys not openly dating more black girls.. and perhaps you're projecting your anger on white women through trying to mimic them and take their white men from them..

otherwise.. you're the only one that's being a downer and negative.. you're seeing a sunny sky.. full of dark clouds and thunderstorms.. - 2 months ago
Question Asker Are you calling me these names? And why are you upset to disrespect me like that? And does that have anything to do with interracial relationships that we are discussing here? - 2 months ago
Answerer Sweetie.. you must have me confused with some other guy.. that sh*t doesn't stand a rat's ass chance of flying.. plus.. by the time you're done with your first year of law school.. you've had the term "ad hominem" pounded down your throat harder than a black package in a white girls mouth - 2 months ago

Question Asker Thank you but most people are ignorant to that understanding because as far as they know: Blacks talk ghetto, act ignorant, not proper, should like R&B only, use slang words and whites talk proper, listen to non-black music, etc stereotypes. why? cause of common dialect of the two races so if one doesn't act like most in there race then to most people, they are being fake or are weird. - 2 months ago

Personally, I'm not down with anyone "acting" and to me there is no "white" to be acting like, not all whites are the same after all. But I am okay hanging out with just about whoever as long as they are themselves and not trashy.

Question Asker Most white people have a certain dialogue like most black people do and when a black sounds like most white people, people don't think they are being themselves or think they are weird becuase of what is most common seen. Vice versa for whites. Your right there is no such thing as your talking white or your talking black because its all about our common backgrounds, enviroments that determine how we speak and act not our color but people, ignorant people socialize a lot with color. - 3 months ago
Answerer I'm glad you got what I was trying to say, was somewhat rushed in my response, and I hope I answered your question well enough for you. Sorry if I came off as offensive or otherwise harsh, that was not my intent. - 3 months ago

any girl -- white, black, hispanic or asian -- who acts hood seems low-class and trashy to me.

rural American rednecks, the French, Australians and Albanians are all white people, so for me to offer a meaningful answer you'll have to specify which group of white people a black girl was mimicking.

I really can't stand rap and when a girl acts ghetto. Especially if they are an altogether different background. It is kind of a turn off. I prefer the intelligent girl over those who choose to act like a certain culture that isn't their own.

I'm not interested in dating a white girl who acts hood ...not even a little bit

black woman acting *stereotypically* (for all these anal people that chewed you out) white is cool and would not turn me off at all. Most of the black women that I run into on a daily basis, which is usually at school, act that way anyways.

See, there's no great way to answer this, as "acting black" doesn't really mean too much. I had a roommate who was in Transportation Design. He was brilliant, and we got along great. People have stereotypes of what "black" is, (even other black people) and he was pretty unpopular among the black students (he was often accused of being a sellout). He was proud to be black, but he didn't fit in with all the stereotypes, so he was "the sellout."

I had another roommate who caused problems for our roomate (see above) and myself, and was always complaining about the white man keeping him down and attacking him. No, he got into trouble because he was doing illegal stuff, etc. We stayed on fairly good terms, but he could be, at times, a huge ass. Not because he was black, but because he chose to try and break the rules, then go into blaming the white man for him getting himself into trouble.

I had a white gay roomate. I didn't have a problem with that. I did have a problem with him hiding porn all over my room, carving threats against me into tables, putting hardcore porn in the public areas, writing threatening notes, etc. He was a jerk, plain and simple. Gay, not gay... treated him the same as I would with a straight roomate who does the same things.

I had a girl I had a small crush on, and she was always acting "gangsta" and really really tough in front of her (self proclaimed) ghetto friends. They loved "thug culture" so she thought it'd be cool to do the same.

The reason I wasn't more attracted to her was because it felt like an act. Around me, she didn't play the tough "gangsta" girl role; she wasn't cussing at everyone, etc. But in front of her friends, she I guess felt like she had to act tough; swearing, talking in some sort of cross between Ebonics and Italian mobster, etc; it wasn't attractive; not because I thought she was "acting black" but because it seemed like either she was putting on an act for me, or she was acting for them. Plus it was a turnoff to see such a sudden change.

I would date a black woman just as I would date a white woman. I wouldn't want to date someone who puts on a huge act or acts based on stereotypes. I'd date based on what I was looking for underneath the physical appearance. It wouldn't be that she was acting white or acting black, it'd be that she was great person and we had things in common.

The OP isn't being racist, just stating a common stereotype that already exists. I personally think people she just act the way they are, just be natural don't try to adjust or act different to fit in it will work against you and that can make you unattractive.

Because, in your eyes,
-there are such things as "acting white" or "acting black"?
-and black= hood?
-and pigment content of skin should dictate behavior?

Strange philosophy! :-|

Try doing a phd on that.

Question Asker No. I think its ridicolous. but a lot of people call it that like when a blk girl talks proper or inteligent then she's acting white or if a white girl doesn't talk proper and acts ghetto then she's acting blck. Its people who refer to it in that way cause they are use to seeing things one way and not realize that our enviroment is what created who we are. Not our color but I understand why its odd because a lot of blk people come from poor enviroments which have a sertain dialect and way they carry themselves - 6 months ago
Answerer You're quite right saying social environment influences behaviour. I object strongly to the identifcation with skin color (even if more blacks live in "bad" environments. "White trash" is a painful reality too.
(btw, I regret deeply not having the possibility to date Michelle O. ;-) but my wife would object) - 6 months ago

i think its ignorant, kinda like they are just trying to fit in or attract a black guy and they think that acting ghetto is their golden ticket. its not, its annoying.

but, if a white girl is born and raised under certain circumstances you can't really expect them to know how to act any other way, like most ppl.

well, you really can't judge how a person acts by their race. this is america, and a person can like what they want to like, and act how they want to act. you can't judge a person by meeting them and decide that they are acting. you have to consider their upbringing as well. a white girl who acts "hood" may have very well been raised in a ghetto enviroment. a black girl who speaks properly may have been raised in a suburban area. no one can act a race. if pigmentation makes our cultures different, then America has no progressed at all.

p.s I am the girl who is called "white" at my school, and I date a white guy, but that doesn't make me ashamd of my raceim proud to be a black girl. guys just aren't as stuck on this issue as much as girls are, so get over it.

Question Asker Yes I agree. People are there enviroments and there color doesn't matter. But a lot of people are used to seeing certain races act a certain way and television plays a big part of it. so a lot are ignorant cause they don't know and I heard some guys make comment like they want a real white girl and a real black girl who acts the way there majority race does. most blks: from ghetto, talk hood. listen to rap mostly and those other stereotypes and white girl: talks proper, ditsy, right, submissive and more - 6 months ago
Question Asker Its not fair though but our races are different and that's y people think cause we are a certain color then we should or they expect us to act the way most of our races act. - 6 months ago
Answerer Thats not true. there are just as many successful black people as there are ghetto ones. the ones that do wrong just overshadow the ones that do well. if you base your opinions on those of the majority, then you don't have a mind. the media controls you. don't talk about this kind of thing because you don't know the facts, and you don't know the statistics. use your own mind and know that you can't even neccessarily tell if someones from the ghetto based on how that act. looks and actions-tricky. - 6 months ago
Question Asker I said people think this way, most, the uneducated ones who don't know and judge races off of what they mostly see. I do not think this way but the problem is what most people think and judge others. I wish people will think outside the box but like you said the wrong do overshadow the ones who do well and that has a lot to do with the media and etc. - 6 months ago
