If your the girl and are one year older than him, I'm 19, 2nd year of college, and he just turned 19 in his first year of college? Do you think the maturity levels would be weird? I know guys mature more slowly than girls.

Some guys mature more slowly, but, like dudeonfire noted, many a girl is clueless until her late 20's, so it's a matter of the individuals involved. The smart money is on you two being relatively similar and the age difference not mattering, dig.

X9354 is Right and Lesae is Wrong. Guys do not mature until at least 30. I am 40 (41 as of today!) and I still think of myself as immature sometimes.

Dudeonfire In defense of the male species. In general women don't even have a clue to what they want until at least 27. Again, I agree with lesae - 6 months ago

A 1 year age difference isn't "strange", but if he's an average guy, than you will most definitely notice that he will be considerably immature (compared to you).

This one depends on the people involved. Your actual age difference is not even very big! I think if you get to know him you should be able to judge based on his character rather than a number.

Nope. You will be fine! I heard the same thing about guys maturing slower. I don't think that is true at your age. 3rd grade maybe. But in college you should be fine.

Advice: How To Know You're In Love
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 20 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
Something cute but not slutty, like a black mini skirt then a fancy party shirt. I love hipster jeans (I don't get muffin rolls =]) with either layerd camis and shirts or just one dressy top. If it's formal I like dresses but I'm really particular on the style for the occasion. I always make sure everything coordinates, including accessories =]. I like cute vests and belts too.

How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
I have short hair (shorter than in the pic now, mid-neck) which I usually leave down with a headband that matches the outfit as an accessory, not pushed back to keep my bangs out of my face. I usually do a little colored eyeliner only on the bottom lid (again, to match the outfit) and mascara. Lipgloss, but only clear. I don't like when girls have an insane amount of makeup on--it looks trashy.

Do I have style?
