Guys if you are playing a video game and your girlfriend is talking to you are you really listening?

Ya like most other guys to respond here I would say 99% of men aren't but he might be ask him questions about what you talked about

It is very good chance we are not listening. The human brain can think about more than one thing at a time, but it's tough and requires a lot of effort. So if we are playing games and a girl or anybody for that matter is talking to us, our mind must be in two places at once: if we are in fact listening. Most men are unlikely to do that.

Just think about little kids who are playing games and their mother is talking to them. Are the kids listening to their mother? Hell no. At that time our mind is focused on the game and we don't want to lose focus by thinking about anything other than the game we are playing.

To answer your question, about 99% of the time, no, we are not listening: not to you, not even if you are a male friend talking to us.

It depends how into it I've gotten, usually it results in a pause or going into spectate after I die that round. (CS FTW! ) Too be honest I'm pretty good with it, but if I'm having trouble listening it has nothing to do with the game, it's my A. D. D. Hard at work.

Ah hell girl, ain't just about a video game. Once that boob tube's on, ain't nobody listen' to nobody. All these gadgets is a substitute for people and ain't gonna stop being that no time soon. I figure you should talk to him when he ain't playing.

All depends on the game I guess. I know I am a light gamer but if my girlfriend calls me during guitar hero and I am not done the song. Lmao. Well. Ill finish it on mute and just give her simple yes or no answers until I am done. But when y girlfriend is with me. Common what fool would waste their time on games when you have the girl of your dreams, the women you love there with you. At least that is how I feel

I hate video games and don't play them but I would say no. If sports are on I don't hear a thing and you have to focus on games a lot more than sports.

If he's playing Xbox Live, don't count on him to be paying attention. I'm a gamer myself (so is my boyfriend) and I don't understand the need people have to try to carry irrelevant conversations with me while I'm playing. Things that could wait until there's a break in the game, like a loading screen. If it's really important I'll put it on pause. I honestly think it's rude. It's like trying to talk to someone while they're on the phone or trying to watch a movie.

I'm dating someone who loves to play video games and he hardly listens to me. Basically it depends on the game for him. Seriously. But no. They are not really listening to you while you're talking to him. It's annoying. Trust me on that.
