It seems to me like a lot of people, even strong confident ones, have that one certain person from their past who still has that strange power over them. Some people make this obvious because they always keep going back and trying to "work things out". And then there are a lot of other people who are smart enough to stay away, but that doesn't mean that they don't secretly still wish things could be better between them.
I'm personally the latter. I don't talk to this guy a lot anymore, I've pretty much completely deleted and removed everything about him from my life, but I don't still occasionally think about him. And I'm sure that if I randomly ran into him one day that my heart would still skip a beat.
So I was just curious to see how many others are in this situation. You can add stuff like if you are still in contact with them or whatever, but you don't have to.
yep I miss my ex-gf...i wish we could have made it work...and there are times I wish she were around...but choices were made...true personalities were revealed. I can comfortably know that, if we hooked up again, the same EXACT problems would resurrect. So I miss her, but I know it is beyond repair.
