Okay, I have been emailing with an old flame. He has kind of a high pressure job and is a very busy man. Sometimes he will email me quite a bit and other times I won't hear from him for awhile. He has warned me that sometimes he will be unable to respond for a few days but says he will get back with me eventually. He says he likes me a lot and misses me. He tells me that he loves my emails and every time he gets one it gives him the butterflies. We have messaged each other a couple of times, but our schedules are so different that it has not been a lot. The couple of times I have messaged him he has always been available and wanted to talk, however he had not answered my emails at that time? Whenever he stops answering my emails I start wondering if he really likes me or is just stringing me along. Would a man tell a woman all that and not really mean it? He has been a bit of a player in the past so I think I tend to second guess him.

I have had these high pressure jobs, and trust me, when you want somebody, you FIND THE TIME to write to them. I don't care how busy you are, you'll make the time. Is not like it takes hours to write a simple email. Hell, email applications now even automatically fill out the name, subject, and all you have to do is type something, and send. Less than a minute and he is too busy to do that? Please.

Hmmm. Well, I guess not a lot lately, other than all that sweet talk. He did take me out and didn't try anything on me. But then he may just be waiting for the right moment. - 8 months ago
