Why do some brunette girls dye their hair blond?

Because they want to? So what if guys prefer the natural look? not everything girls do is for guys fyi =)

A lot of girls seem to think guys prefer blondes. Personally, I like being a brunette, I don't care how common it is.

i have dark brown hair. I love just switiching it up. I like putting streaks in it. right now mine is dark brown with blond highlights and red blonde highlights. I like standing out sometimes but as logn as it makes me look cute still, it's all good lol.

idk maybe because blondes are stereotyped as being hotter and they usually get more attention. if most guys like the natural look why do fake blondes get all the attention?

I think its the media, a lot of guys like blondes and some girls sadly think they have to dye there hair to be more attractive. Personaly I think most blondes (okay just the platinum ones) are kind of skanky, I prefer anything from dark blonde to dark brown, redheads too.

Seems like it's a phase they just want to try.
