Personally I prefer tattoos that have a personal meaning. I have

"In memoria fortitudo"

on my arm with a simple graphic. It means, "In memory, courage." Without going into a pile of details I've had a 'rough' (parent died, homeless, friends committed suicide and so on) and I so having courage with my memory is sort of a motto of mine.
