What are some (non run of the mill) stores where a young adult could shop online? I already know about the normal nordstroms, abercrombie, forever 21, etc.
alloy.com, freepeople.com (their stuff is kinda expensive but you can always find really awesome stuff on sale) swell.com, urbanoutfitters.com, those are just a few I can think of off the top of my head!
On etsy.com, you can find really neat, unique clothing that is handmade and super fashionable, as well as handmade jewelry and accessories! I am addicted. I also really like J. Crew and Anthropologie online, but they're pricey, so I always browse the sales. I also like Urban Outfitters, but I often feel like I have to wade through a bunch of stuff that's just too grungy for me before I find things I like. Delias.com has similar and cheaper styles in juniors sizes. Try modcloth.com, too, for things with a retro edge or some cool vintage finds. For basic t-shirts, you can't beat americanapparel.com, but sizes tend to run small for women. I also really like The Gap, but I find that stuff there looks a lot better in the store than online.
