Braces? Turn off/on or does not matter?

I have always thought braces were sexy. Not sure why, other than it adds some shine to the teeth, and also plumps up the lips.

I think braces are a turn off in the short term, but good long term. I don't know that they are a deal breaker in the sense that I would turn a girl down if she had them. These days I'm closing in on 30, so it would be different, but at the younger ages, it's basic orthodontic work. Once they come off, you'll have much better teeth and that will make you feel better.

Just my two cents: my parents didn't get me braces growing up. I had a quarter sized gap in my front teeth and was painfully embarrassed about it. To this day I have to consciously think to show teeth when I smile. Getting braces sucks, but not getting them can be worse. That's not to say they don't stink, but there's light at the end of the tunnel. (:

I have braces yes it sucks I know, but women don't seem to mind, they don't even mention it to me, just makes it where I don't want to smile that often, but as far as kissing no problem in that department I was kind of worried about that at first but it can easily be done

It doesn't matter so It's certainly not a turn off to me! If fact this may sound strange, but that does call attention to a girl's mouth and so I actually find that quite appealing. When she tries to keep her mouth clothes more than usual, or cover her mouth sometimes like she's shy about that, I find that quite sexy to me. You know, like a mole can look sexy on a girl, well this about the same thing but better.

Braces for me don't matter. No one wants to have them but if its required, it shouldn't be something that should bother anyone or be taken as a turn off. So for me. Its all good. Plus, on some people braces look good. So it can't be all that bad.

Well I am 15 and I have braces. Many people at my age do have braces. So of course it isn't something you PREFER in someone, but for me if they have them it is no big deal. Mainly because braces are temporary, and it shows that the person (or their parents) care enough about themselves to want straight teeth. I would rather date someone with braces than with gross crooked teeth.
