Petite Women - Yay or nay?

Personally I tend to like taller women, preferably as tall as I or taller. However, this is quite rare (at least in my experience) since I'm 5'11". I'm not exactly sure why I prefer taller women but I just always have. I just think it's nice to be able to look straight ahead (or up) into a girls eyes and cuddle her as well.

That's not to say that I've not found women shorter than I attractive, I have. I mean, it's like a package deal. Looks, attitude, personality, smile, etc. All add in together to make a girl attractive. I was once very much attracted to a girl who was your height. :)

Generally there's a stigma that girls attach to dating guys who are shorter than them. Whether it's justified or not, doesn't matter. It's just the way most girls are. There is a societal perception that women should be shorter than the man they're with, and since I'm short (5' 7) it's definitely more attractive for me when a girl is petite and shorter than me. Especially if she likes wearing heals, haha.

For me it's mostly about proportion and not height. But if she IS closer to my height, it works better for dancing.

Height doesn't matter all that much to me.

In my view, hell yes! As long as you look like a, then I've go no problems. I think most guys prefer shorter girls, as do I. I personally don't like girls who are tall, so the shorter the better, unless you're like 4'9" then it would feel a little weird, but anything taller is great. I think I prefer shorter girls because it's more feminine for the woman to be shorter than the guy, it makes the guy feel more dominant and manly (for the most part). I don't need no Amazon women in my life!

Guys like women that are smaller then them. So I don't think you should worry too much about your height. But, it also depends on your physique. If it goes with your height then that's a great turn on for lots of guys!

Just be confident and guys will love you for that!

I am petite as well. Although I like my height because if I like a guy i can be like"hey I can't reach this, mind helping me? " haha but I would imagine a guy would want someone little so he can feel protective and he can feel manly. One guy said he likes petite girls because he loves the way they feel so tiny when he hugs them. I would rather be petite than a giant =D.

I too am only 5ft 1/2 and it always bothered me, always wanted to be 3 or 4 inches taller so I would feel like everyone else! But lot of my guy friends and my ex all said I was the ideal height for a girl. Something to do with them coming over all protective and feeling manly!

I'm 5ft and I get the piss ripped out of me about me height but it never stops a fella from liking me ever if anything the feel better that I'm not taller than them lol

I would say personality has something to do with it too. But in my opinion, after I got out of high school I get hit on and stuff all the time. People saying how tiny and cute I am. I am 4'10 and 22 years old.
