Ok I use Gillette triple protection, clear gel deodorant; however, its not helping me. So what deodorant is there that works well and helps a man smell great even if he sweats?

I use Axe dry (Clix) or Old Spice. I don't sweat that much though even during exercise so you might need a stronger deodorant if you have a sweating problem. Both of these work very well though.
Here in the UK we have a really good deodorant/antiperspirant in a green roll-on bottle called Mitchum. You can usually only get it from pharmacies (drug stores) rather than supermarkets, but it's really effective, giving 48hr protection instead of 24hr. If it's available where you are, check it out.
First of all, make sure you distinguish between deodorants and antiperspirants. The former will help stop you from smelling bad, and the latter will help you not sweat as much in the first place. A plain deodorant is not an antiperspirant, but most antiperspirants ARE deodorants. So I would recommend going with antiperspirant.
And yes, the best I have found is indeed Old Spice. You can get it at any drug store like CVS, Rite Aid, or Walgreens, or a multipurpose store like Walmart, Target, etc.
Oh you don't want your deodorant to have a strong scent. Scents are for cologne or how ever you spell it. You just want a deodorant that isn't goofy and wet its just gross.
Right Guard Artic Refresh With that stupid power stripe gimmick. It always smells good, and I tend to sweat a lot. I mean it does a pretty bad job at stopping sweating, but at least your pits will be oh so fresh.
