Many Tattoos ?

Well it depends on the person. Personally, I have two pretty large tattoos and plan on getting my full back one day (wow, tats are expensive). One is on my thigh and extends from my lower hip to about 3 inches above my knee. the other down the side of my ribcage. both beautiful pieces of custom work. Looking at me you wouldn't expect to see these large masterpieces under my clothing. I am a strait A college honor student, on the board of directors for an activist organization, a writer for my school paper and politically involved in my community. And I LOVE TATTOOS. Don't judge a book by its cover, still waters run deep.

I think if a woman has over 5 tattoos she's messed up lol. I have tons of friends who have gotten 1 or 2 little ones. But the only women I know that have gotten over 5 tattoos are gothic or a little on the weird side.

Hm. I have one small tattoo and I wasn't really trying to be wild, it's not considered that odd for a girl to get one where I come from. I wanted a permanent good luck charm personally and each to their own.

I'm seeing a guy who has at least 10 tattoos and he's not trying to be anything but himself and express that. I think his are beautiful and if he had 30, whatever, he's still awesome and the same goes for women. It's about self-expression, not a label or warning to show you who's "irresponsible" or a "tramp".

I plan on getting a number of tattoos and don't consider myself to be any of the things you said. Tattoos are just an artful way to reflect one's personality.

If someone is damaged, slutty, kinky, or totally awesome, then it won't be defined by their tattoos. it's be defined by who they are.

I have 3 tattoo's . One on my right ankle , one on my left foot , and another on my wrist. I don't feel that a girl that has 5 or more tattoo's can be classified as any of the things you stated. Tattoo's are an expression . . . A choice and to me at times they compliment a persons body very well. I plan on getting a couple more because I like the way they look ON ME . I would never go over board , but once again that is a choice . I don't want to come off rude , but this question seems to be festered with stereotypes. I guess you have to know people to understand why they make the choices they do. Just like someone would have to know you to better understand why you asked this question.

Judging someone by the look of their tattoo(s) is just as unpredictable as judging them by the color of their hair. Sure, we all joke that blonds are dumber, but that's not really the case. Similarly, we all think that people with lots more tattoos are tougher or meaner or whatever. This may have been true years ago when tattoos were scarcely worn, and getting one was a form of rebellion. These days, though, it doesn't mean anything per se, you just have to find out what it means to them and why they got it.
