I am extremely attracted to girls of the Indie / Emo style.... But I cannot stand how most of them act. Like general stereotypical emo moodiness... and depression... That really gets on my nerves, but Indie/Emo girls are the only ones I like. I don't think that was even a question, but can someone explain how I can get my girlfriend to act a little less "Emo" without sounding like a complete ass?

I think you should just cut it out with the stereo typing and get over this infatuation you have over just a style.. Clothes don't make people, people make the clothes. If you don't like the person then why the heck are you going to try to put yourself through that mess.

Compliment her a lot. Tell her you love her! ask her why she is sad.. Or depressed. kiss her, tease her, make her smile! just ignore her "emoness" and treat her like she's acting perfectly normal.. Which she is..

Some things have to make her happy, right? Talk about/do them! Cookies, in-jokes, and bringing your baby to a concert might cheer her up. Come on, just try to make her happy.

Well I don't really know anyone who is "Emo" but maybe instead of trying to get her to act less like that you could just get her to act more like the girl you want to be with. But in order to do that you have to ask yourself what you want in a girl. If everything that you can think of describes your current girlfiend than maybe there isn't much to change after all... Sorry if I wasn't much help!

You need to get close to her to find the real her . Most of the time these people dressing in stereotypes often match the stereotypical behavior that goes with the fashion . However, if you get to know the real her, then you should find that she has her own personality under the stereotypical behavior .

Get close to her is my take. Ask her what's wrong...and try to help the best you can. I'm not sure you can CHANGE HER but it's possible.

Advice: How To Feel Better About Your Body
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 20 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My first date, I'd want to do something fun and active. Not the whole 'dinner and a movie' thing. I would probably want to go backpacking or snowboarding... maybe with a group of people. Just so there's no awkward moments, and I just like to be out there doing something instead of just watching a movie or something. Know what I mean?

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date would know I'm, fun(ny), adventurous, active, and idk, I guess whatever they wanted to know.

Would you date me?
