I'm not sure if that's actually what they're called, but whatever.
I saw a girl at school wearing one like this link the other day. It was a really nice top, but she was wearing a regular bra with it, so you saw the band. It looked horrible, honestly.
What kind of bra are you supposed to wear with a top like that?
Haha this dude knows his stuff. He's right actually. You can get bras where the front is just two cups with a gel-like adhesive around the edges. And then the strap goes around the neck. You can also find ones like this that also have a clear strap going around the back for added support. - 2 months ago
Question Asker
I knew about adhesive bras, but I've never seen one that came with a strap (and they're pretty useless without a strap). - 2 months ago
Oh. Well I have one that my mom got for me at some obscure lingerie shop for my prom dress last year. The strap doesn't do all that much but it has hooks on either side of it and attaches to the lower corners of the cups. I'll try to figure out where she got it. - 2 months ago

Oh my god bras are confusing!
This line made me laugh, "that my mom got for me at some obscure lingerie shop" haha.
Oh, aren't there shirts or dresses that are built so you don't need a bra? Like, around the chest region they are made to be more supporting so it looks like you have a bra on?
If it were up to me, just don't wear bras. Too many studies have shown they increase the chances for cancer. And hell, if all the girls stopped wearing them, then guys couldn't complain anymore, : P - 2 months ago
Ha woops. I probably sounded like a materialistic bitch by saying that, but I was just trying to get the point across that the reason she has probably never seen one with that extra strap is because you have to find them in 'obscure' places. Haha.
And the answer is, yes to your third paragraph. But shirts with thin fabric (like the one in the link) don't tend to have those.
Lol increase risk for cancer, really? Weird. Haha I def. wouldn't mind not having to wear a bra. More comfy x 920348. - 2 months ago

Well, you don't HAVE to wear a bra, right? If people give you crap about it, then you know they aren't worth your time :P
Interestingly though, a girl I went to high school with who has C-cups said she NEVER wears bras at home or going to bed. That's a lot more healthy too I bet.
Oh, and that "obscure lingerie shop" line, I didn't think you were being materialistic or a bitch or whatever, I just thought the thought of some backalley "special" underwear store was funny. - 2 months ago
Question Asker
I figured, you meant they were hard to find (especially since I couldn't find one for my prom, and I searched everywhere).
Tops and dresses with built-in bras don't offer much support. They're fine for an A cup, but that's pretty much it. - 2 months ago
Question Asker
Not wearing a bra when she's at home or sleeping doesn't mean she never wears one, she just takes it off when she's at home. That's not unusual. - 2 months ago
Lol no you don't HAVE to but... I'm thinking that going bra-less would attract too much unwanted attention, and too many points and giggles for my liking. Plus, when I see girls wearing shirts without bras I think it looks nasty haha.
Yeah she's smart. When I'm not in public I don't wear one either.
Hahaha hmm yeah.. Probably wasn't the best wording...lol. - 2 months ago
I found some bras on a certain secret website called a "multi-way" or "100 way" bra. That looks like it could do it.
Maybe some of those stick on bra cups that don't have straps on them at all. I haven't tried them but my girlfriend in high school had a dress that had just kind of like bands that ran from her hips across her breasts to a halter top. That was the only bra that would work for her.
Of course, if you don't sag too much, you could just go without a bra.
