I want to make my lips look a little more red, like for an everyday look. I don't want it to seem overly exaggerated, just enough where they are nice and noticable and still somehwat casual. I have light a light brown skin tone, so, will this work? Can someone [anyone] name any type of lipgloss that will make my lips more tinted with red?
Stick to mauve and darkened red tones, whatever you do. No one likes orangey lips! I use Revlon LipGlide, the twist-up one (somewhere around 10 dollars, but lasts years) Glazed Almond #150 Perfect color in my opinion :)

No, I wouldn't say the color lasts beyond a meal, but I've tried the long lasting ones and they look, taste and feel nasty. They also often peel off along with layers of your lips. Gross! :P - A month ago
haha k I have a magic solution, I have this middle eastern tone best thing that worked with me was Wet 'n Wild the lip sticks that's called Just Peach, it looks orange but when you apply it to your lips it gives it a very natural pink color, makes your lips look so naturally pink/red its just cute and I you need to see a pic tell me and I will try to find you one that I'm wearing this lipstick
What you should do is buy a red lipstick. If you put a tiny bit on and rub it in well and put lipgloss over the top then you will get the look you want. Its what I do if I'm heading out anywhere. It means you can make them as red as you want just by the amount of lipstick you put on.
