So I have had on fake nails for a pretty long time now, and my natural nails are sooooo long, is there anyway that I can somehow get these fake nails off without harming my real nails too much so I can keep the length of my real ones?
Are they acrylic? Use acetone to get acrylic nails off (THERE ARE NAIL POLISH REMOVERS WITH ACETONE, YOU CAN SOAK YOUR NAILS In THAT TO GET THEM OFF) if you didn't cut your real nails down before you had them done at the salon, its going to mess them up worse ((NEXT TIME, MAKE SURE THAT YOU ASK THE PERSON THAT'S DOING YOUR NAILS TO CUT THEM BEFORE THEY PUT THE ACRYLIC ONES ON))
wish you the best with that, just don't rip off your nails...
Ok, either go to the shop and they will take them off professionally OR dip your fingers in pure alcohol and with a little bit of wiggling they lift straight off. But these guys are right your natural nails will be bendy and thin and will tear very easily, so you may have to strat from scratch anyway. Hope this helps. :o) xXx
probably not. they file your nails down so much th put the artifical ones on. if they where weak before you got them, imagine how weak they are gonna be now. thin.
Well that depends, if you got them done at the salon it's likely they filed your natural nails down, which means once you remove your fake nails, your natural ones will be soft and brittle. I haven't tried many ways to get fake nails off but I can suggest just buying acetone based nail polish remover and soaking you hands in them for about an hour (yes it's a long time) the acetone will help to melt the acrylic so you can pull off the fake nails without harming your real nails as much. I hope that helps.
