I don't mean to be racist, but I'm genuinely curious. Lately it seems all the guys I talk with say they'd love to have an Asian (more specifically a Japanese) girlfriend. I'm Japanese and I remember it was rare for me to get the attention of guys. Now, all I have to say is my background and heads turn. Why is that? Is it because guys think Japanese girls are more kinky in bed?
Yep. It's because everyone thinks you're tight, horny, slutty, submissive little whores. You girls have become sexually objectified. Enjoy it while the trend lasts ;)

Okay, that was a bad joke. Asian women definitely have the exotic look but I think stereotypes tend to play heavily into these fantasies which make us think that Asian women are quiet, shy, bashful and submissive.
We all know that none of these are truly applicable - I've been with a few Asian women who were firecrackers, dangerous to handle and explosive - but it is still a fantasy played on. Look at Asian porn and you'll see many of these stereotypes amplified.
Lastly, the majority of Asian women do not look their age. They appear very youthful so you can play out your younger-woman fantasy without feeling like you are robbing the cradle.
I think that there are a lot of reasons that guys are attracted to Asian women.
Petite, great skin, beautiful hair, etc. Others I think are really into the culture, and I would say there are those that think that Japanese girls are kinkier (if that's true or not I have no idea, but it is a stereotype that a lot of people buy into).
I don't see why you would think you are racist, but that's not the issue.
The reason you felt ignored before had a lot to do with the age of the boys in your peer group. You're older now, and so are the guys you encounter. Men being attracted to Asian women isn't new in the adult world; men have always found Asian women to be exotic and mysterious, thus the appeal for Asian women. It has nothing to do with thinking they are "more kinky in bed. " Actually, no one race of women are more kinky than any other race.

I think it is because Asian girls in general are more reflective and considerate and just NICER than the typical bitchy US girl, and guys are catching on to that now.
No, they know we aren't so easy to 'pick up' so they aren't looking for that from us.they just like to be treated with more respect and consideration, and want a companion who has a brain.

No, but then again we are an exotic species. I am a mix of stuff, chinese, hawaiian, puerto rican, and been said I look Russian. (that I don't understand) We are just too gorgeous. :)
Yeah, I've actually been wondering about that too (a lot of my guy friends really like asian girls, lol). I think it's just that asian girls are petite and somewhat "foreign", so I'm assuming that's why guys are attracted to asian girls more. That, and asian girls are just naturally really pretty. Just a guess though.
