I've been sporting longish (normally a little above shoulder length) hair for a while now, primarily because I'm really not a fan of how I look with really short hair.
I've heard varying things from people I've asked in person but girls, what does it say to you when you see a guy with long hair? Or does it say anything at all?
Personally, I like long hair if the guy likes it. As long as the guy is comfortable with his hairstyle, I usually am (unless he spikes it or something out there). Some guys just don't like short hair, and look better with long hair.
Personally, I love long hair on guys. My boyfriend is growing his at the moment, and it's just past his shoulders. It's curly and delicious, and it's a lot of fun to play with ^_^
However, in terms of what it says about a particular guy, it's dependent on what condition his hair is in. If it's obvious that he really loves it and takes the effort to look after it, then he has my respect and often, admiration :)
I honestly am NOT a big fan of long hair. I usually like guys for short hair. NOT super short tho. Just normal short hair. But hey that doesn't mean guys can't have long hair. Some guys do look great with it. :)
Some girls really love it, while it turns others off. That might be annoyingly vague, but think of the advantages. Long hair is a great girl filter! Since it's so representative of who you are, girls who like it wouldn't really like you anyway.
Having said that, make sure to keep a flattering haircut. Some people's hair is not layered and makes their face look narrow. Never part it in the middle--highly ugly-making--and keep it clean and fresh. That will keep the girls coming!
First, it is your decision and NO ONE else's. Don't cut your hair just because a girl wants you to. Even having said this there are limits. If a guy has longer hair then me, (shoulder-blade length) that would be a little weird in my opinion. I do like a little length depending if the way it is cut matches the shape of that guys face.
As long as you take care of it, keep it clean and untangled etc. (i. E. No dreads! ) I think long hair is very sexy! I love to play with it. If a guy has long hair and takes good care of it, it shows that he's putting some effort into his appearance. After all, I think we all know it's easier to care for a short buzz cut (or a pixie, in a girl's case) than shoulder-length or longer hair. It gives off the impression (to me) of someone who is more gentle, more counter-culture, and more of his own person, rather than someone trying to fit society's mold.
Not every guy can pull off long hair, unfortunately, but as the anonymous respondent below said, you are definitely working it! From girl to girl it's going to vary as to what she finds sexy, but I love that look!
Well hair length all depends on the girl and what she finds sexy I personally like guys with long hair I think it gives them a sense of mysteriousness and charm so I say work it and being confident with it will allow others to adore it too I hope you keep it because it does look good on you just do what you feel right with if you love your longish hair then totally go for and let the world come to you
I don't really go for guys with long hair. Probably because my dad has sported long hair since I've been around. I like just enough to grab a hold of but not enough to braid! LOL
I think anything above shoulder length for a guy is normal. If you have a hair longer than this girls might associate you (consciously or unconsciously) with either a grunge bassist or a motorbiker. I think long hair is a subtle expression of inner passion. But then again it softens the manliness of a guy, so yea it's worth taking a risk to find a girl who's into the same taste as you ;) Hope this helped.
Guys with long hair are not my thing, total turn off for me. Especially really long hair and dreads, ew so foul. However, if that's you in that pic, you're working it. It's not too long, so it's kinda sexy ;) That length is fine, some girls will enjoy running their fingers through it and others will love to pull at it during sex LOL!
