How did you feel when you dumped someone?

  • For me, I felt kind of sad, kind of guilty, yet I also felt like a burden had been lifted.

    The reason is, the guy was a really good guy, a gentleman; however, he was too passive. Like, WAY too passive; I'd have to make every single decision, like where we were going to eat, or if we're just strolling, which direction we would turn. It was just too much. And, I felt like we just weren't compatible in many other aspects.

    Because he is such a good person, it was particularly difficult for me to "dump" him. After I did, I felt so bad, but I also did feel like a weight/burden was lifted.
