Girls: Have a question about the way a woman or girlfriend defines her guy?

So, if a girl refers to her guy as "handsome" is that as powerful as "hottie" or "sexy"? does it indicate attraction from her?

thanks everyone

  • Handsome implies attraction. Hottie/sexy is more...raw physical attraction. Handsome is like...the whole package. I like handsome more- but I know dudes wanna hear that they're hot lol.

    • so I should look at it as a higher compliment when she says handsome?

    • If she's anything like me- yes lol. But different girls use the terms...differently. Don't overthink it! Either way, it's a flattering remark :)

  • I think handsome has to do with you as an overall person. Hottie or sexy has to do with physical appearance and handsome has to do with the whole package. Just like telling a girl she's beautiful can mean physical and pesonality traits.

  • Handsome is a whole lot better than being called 'sexy'.

    ---- Handsome is similar beautiful...

  • Very few guys are hot. Handsome means he's attractive and has good character. Cute means he's attractive and fun. Sexy means he's got sexual charisma.

  • Of course not! Hot, beautiful, gorgeous is the way to go. Handsome is like our "cute". Useless.

  • I'd rather be called handsome than hot or sexy. Those words are just tacky.
