Why do people say "you are attracted to what you are" (ethnicity wise)?

Okay for people who are mixed race and mixed cultural backgrounds, how does that saying come in to place? I'm mixed with black, Hawaiian, Filipino, and white. So what exactly am I suppose to be attracted to? I find all guys attractive but when I share my attraction for white guys it's seemingly wrong to some people? I'm not full black nor am I a straight ethnicity. So what the hell am I "suppose" to be attracted to?

  • i don't think that's true. i think it depends more on how you were brought up and what you were surrounded by. of course your mind can always change though.
