Girls, Is the word date, ummm for lack of a better term, outdated?

So I've only ever been on one date in my life. I'm about to ask this girl out we've talked a lot and are getting along well, and- I'm just gonna do it! Lol but I was thinking of how to word it, and I want to legitimately tell her I'd like to go on a date with her, but like I know most people say hangout or whatever... What are your thoughts?

  • Firs of all: YES AND YES AND YES on you asking her on ACTUAL DATE.
    Using those exact words.

She will appreciate it, trust me.

Asking a girl out on date doesn't maka you a "nerd" or a "loser" or whatever.

Its sweet, its shows you care, it shows you want to give it a try with her.

Same goes with the kissing, consent is very important.

Dont be afraid you will be judged, by her or anyone else.
If she reacts badly, at least you know she wasn't worth it.

    GOODLUCK, MY MAN!!!

  • I like the word date because along with the word, it means that the person asking is interested. It's directly asking to get to know someone romantically.

    • So is there something wrong with using the word? How would you respond to it?

  • I think it's cute! If it's a date, call it a date.
