Have you guys seen girls with no make up, look up models and then look at how they look with no makeup. Terrible right, now look at guys who are considerd goodlooking who have not got plastic surgery, can you honestly tell me that there are actually more good looking girls then guys?

Note that "good looking" is a subjective descriptor. Also note that, since the majority of (western) women can and do erase their flaws/highlight their good points via IRL Photoshop, ie cosmetics, the "norm" for women is much higher than is true. Guys don't literally cover their flaws, therefore most men's natural appearance, baggy eyes, acne scars, and all, is society's expectation of what an average man looks like (and therefore what a mate finds acceptable). You can see this fluidity again in comparing what "stereotypically effeminate" gay men consider a "good looking guy" vs. what straight women do.
TL;DR: mass perception = expectations = societal standards.0
