Why not? Just because a relationship is hard does not mean that it is not worth it. Besides I have first hand experience with ADHD I would have to be one hell of an asshole to turn someone down because of it.
My boyfriend has horrible ADHD and ADD. Sure, it can be difficult and annoying, but I'm pretty used to it considering we've been together for 8 months (actually kind of close to 9 now). Things like that won't stop me from befriending someone. I may have patience issues at times but if the person really wants to fight for our relationship, they'll understand my occasional snaps (which my boyfriend does very well).
I have ADD and take medication for it. I suffered from it being undiagnosed for years. Finally got diagnosed and I've really learned to deal with it. Most people would never assume I have ADD because I'm usually the smartest guy in the room. It's not a big deal at all. I've accomplished more than most my age despite being diagnosed. It's not a biggie at all.. honestly. Look at what I do lol. Would you assume I have a learning disability?
I have a problem with the entire concept of AD (H) D, as every "symptom" I've heard of is really just a symptom of being a child. Also parents, teachers, other authority figures who use a child's disorder as an excuse rather than an explanation of a person's behavior. Isn't it odd that most of the time it's not the person with the disorder who uses it as an excuse?
Dating some one with ADHD ain't an issue at all... I don't know I have always been suspicious of the legitimacy of ADHD but recently I found out that the inventor of ADHD, admitted months before he died that ADHD was a "fictitious disease"
