If you met someone online, whether through a dating site or somewhere else, would you meet them in person? Assuming you've talked on the phone and Skype and meet in a public place.
If so, where would you meet? And how long would you wait between meeting online and meeting in person?
My situation is that I've met a guy on a dating site that I might want to meet in person, but I'm hesitant. Also, the logistics would be difficult at the least; he lives five hours away.

I would if I were you but only if you feel like it's the right thing to do and I would meet in a coffee shop or something like that just to be safe1

I would meet in person, providing (as you said) it was in a public place like a coffee shop or something of the sort. I would probably wait one to two months before meeting them, just to ensure that I was truly interested. I like getting to know the person as much as possible before meeting them. This also makes it easier to hold conversation in the long run. Good luck!1
