Stuff like that, that gives you something to do but also an opportunity to talk. Basically the key to a good date is giving you both something to do but yet ample opportunity to talk and interact with one another as well as making it easier to find common ground.
Something interactive for me so I chose arcade mini golf... I had a great first date playing checkers but I'm into board games... 2nd date-ice skating was awful though, holdingy hands with someone you barely know isn't recommended esp when one can skate better than the other
Any of those besides the movies is good, I'd say. You want to do something fun and interactive if possible, so you're not just sitting there awkwardly trying to make conversation, or just sitting silently next to each other in a dark movie theatre.
