How do you get guys to take you more seriously?

And perceive you as more mature? Obviously age doesn't determine maturity, but I just want to hear from others.

Note: I'm just curious. No rude comments please.

  • 1) Have a real job/career
    2) Have you own place
    3) Have goals/life plan
    4) Be emotionally stable: void of pointless drama
    5) Have positive friends/ Don't hang out toxic people
    6) Have standards for the guy you want to be with/ Don't date losers
    7) Be in shape/ Make physical self a priority

    • Is being in school (working towards getting a good job) and living with your parents until you can pay off some of your student loans= dealbraker?

    • Not necessarily but living with/relying on your parents does make you seem less mature especially to someone who works a 9 to 5 to support themselves. It's not a bad thing in fact it's not only normal but necessary when you are in your late teens/early twenties. However as you reach your late twenties/thirties it can become a deal breaker.

Have a life outside of him
No gossiping (in front of him)
Don't criticize him directly; package criticism as wit
Make him look good in public
    Suck his dick :)

  • Be more mature - have more class and don't start or get involved with drama. Also, be confident and look like you have a plan.

  • Become respectable
