You become who you hang out with .. agree or disagree?

Ive heard this a number of times and it does seem to make sense that we become like whoever we're around.

But then how about independent leaders? Are they also influenced/changed by who they are around?

  • Leaders always have people around them, even if we don't see them in the spotlight and they always choose people who build them up and encourage them to lead. A little different but along the same lines.

  • Yeah usually. Or at the very lead you'll get the same reputation as the one they have. For example: if you hangout with pot smokers, and for sole reason you don't end up smoking pot, there's still a high chance of everybody thinking you do.

  • I would mostly agree with this. Everyone is different, people are social and we are creates of habit. But some are likely to lead most follow
