  • I assume the conversation is over when I haven't gotten a response in a hour, usually.

Sometimes something comes up for them and I do get a response a few hours later when they're free again, but that's the exception, not the rule.

I usually respond as soon as I can, but everyone is different and some people I talk to NEVER respond in a timely manner, haha!

  • When it seems/feels concluded.

but then, for me.. sometimes, things never end.

I'll be talking to someone about something..

Topic changes.. then we do something else..

and then, 4 hours later, I pick up where we left off...

It is so frustrating sometimes when they are confused.

I mean, really, try and keep up!

  • Depends on who I'm texting. My friends usually reply right away, so if I don't get a response within an hour or two, the conversation is probably over. For family, a few hours. For my boyfriend, I just assume I won't get a response lol

  • i don't care about text delays. Texting is convenience to reply when you have time. If I wanted a conversation or a quick reply I'd call them.

  • Depends if I know what the other person is doing. 20 minutes if I know they're free.
