Goddamn you're young if you consider those "classic movies." Holy shit I mean Lebowski came out when I was in college. Give me a break here, man. :)
I don't even consider 70s movies "classic." For me classic is like 1900-1950 or so. For that era, I'd say two movies: "Two Seconds," which is very little seen, about the life experiences which led to a man's being executed for a crime; and "Trial," which was an incredibly entertaining screed against communism. I would watch either one again RIGHT NOW and I can say that about few films from any era.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, a great crime comedy.
Alien, great horror.
Blade Runner, great sci-fi.
Heat, great crime drama.
Empire Strikes Back, great film in general.
