Got into a debate with my friend when I told him about the song creep from radiohead and he acted like he had never heard that song. Would you agree that it is in fact a well known, popular rock song in the U. S? I hear it on the radio least once a week.
It's a hell of a song but I prefer songs from their OK Computer and Kid A albums. I think Radiohead are more known for their experimental approach. Creep in particular might be their most popular song, but their latter albums as a whole are much more appraised. They still kick ass though, here's one of my favorites by them.
It's popularity depends on what people you're around. I think anyone who listens to genres like indie & rock has heard it several times. But people who just listen to today's popular pop music like Justin Bieber, one direction etc have probably not heard it.
