(1) "Armor" - John Steakly. Far and away best science fiction book I've ever read and I'm not into the genre that much. (2) "The Two Georges" - Harry Turtledove/Richard Dreyfuss. Alternate history novel given to me as a gift that I could not put down. As with "Armor" not a fan of the genre but just became enthralled with this story. (3) "Watchers" - Dean R. Koontz. It was really a toss up between this, "Strangers", and "Lightning", but since this was the first Koontz novel I read it edges out the other three. Read it in one sitting then came back a day later and read it again (did same thing with "Lightning"). Just love when a story grips me like that.
