What was your childhood video game?

And by that I mean the one you enjoyed playing the most.

This trailer was made back in the day so it might look strange compared to current ones. Wehn they actually showed gameplay 😢

To me it's Ninja Gaiden! It brings back so much memories and I wish I could play it again. At the time, I had the first Xbox when it was the newest console and omg I recommend it if you get a chance! It is so fun. It's like no other game! Just not the more recent ones, they suck ass. I mean the very first one!

It would be that or this racing game called Burnout

  • Oh my God, this ‘Call of Duty’ new version for Xbox will be unbelievably cool in my mind! :) I look forward to it and I hope that it’ll appear in the near future! In general I prefer PlayStation games more and I’m inveterate PlayStation fan, but despite this I have lots of perfect Xbox games and get a great pleasure from these excellent games together with my friends. :) I always buy my xbox card https://www.gameveo.com and I’m very happy with my choice, because the prices in given site are very low and you’ll meet a huge selection of different fantastic games! :) And exactly here you will find what you need and like. So guys I wish to all of you large good luck and fabulous recreations to every of you! :)

  • The original Day of Defeat it was the first FPS I ever played and this was back in the 90s lol when this kind of thing was just gaining traction it was a fun ass game.
    https://youtu.be/j4MCo89bTWE

And then they made Day of Defeat Source which is a more modern remake kind of which is just sooooo much fun even after a decade I still choose to play this over modern shooters it's just soo much damn fun especially on orange maps, Mario maps and zombie servers. We even have a server were all we do is just shoot each other and yell out famous action star one liners when we kill people lmao. Also this is actually how a full serve is gameplay wise.

This game still boast tons of servers and has a very active player base.

    • Also melee only servers are soo much fun, nothing quite like playing a nazi and hacking people to death with a shovel or being an American and clubbing a Nazi to death with a knife that also has brass knuckles on it.

  • My childhood video game was Fable: The Lost Chapters. It was my first ever role-playing game and the variety of choices to make in-game instantly got me hooked!
The sights and sounds (including background music) of various locations in Albion truly gave me a captivating experience.
I enjoyed Fable 2 when it was released as it built upon the first installment's gameplay, with the nice addition of a furry companion.
Fable 3 was a real letdown since it took away much of what the first two games had implemented - the choices were more limited, more linear storyline, and a very unrewarding trading system. I hope Lionheart Studios will restore the Fable series to its former glory - and not kill it like the lineage of Heroes in Fable 3.

  • Hard to say - early childhoo it was Doom, Blood, Duke Nukem and Commander Keen.
Later on it was Half Life. After that, Vice City, San Andreas, The Punisher and Counter Strike 1.6. As well as Rome Total War and Sim City.

    • There where epic games back then. I was insanely happy when I heard of Zelda64s remakes!

    • Show All
    • Ocarina of Time is on the 3DS, and after beating the remake of the first OoT, you unlock the ability to play a remake of Master Quest. Both games in one cartridge.
The Majora's Mask remake exists in a separate game.

    • @clampfan101 I like that actually. Show todays kids what a real game is, on a device they all have anyway. I never got to use the 3DS myself.. Gameboy, Nintento, Gamecube, Playstation, and PC, those were the consoles I used. I don't even have an Ipad now, I use my phone for everything, and if not my phone, PC it is.

  • http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=n2pphstqTHE the first horror game I ever played.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2QjCOXcQpsE The first FPS I ever played, it would be cool if they ever remake this game.

  • When I was a child, personal computers and games did not exist. :-(
The cassette tape was cutting-edge technology. Video recorders did not exist, either.

    • It's amazing how much technology has evolved. Everything in The Jetsons will soon be old school technology. (Except things like cars turning into brief cases unless shrinking is invented. lol)

  • Mostly Zelda games for the N64 and the Gameboy Color.
My favorite game will always be Ocarina of Time! It's nearly flawless!

I remember the first Ninja Gaiden for the NES. Great story, great graphics and difficult as hell.
