  • Mind you, my opinions will probably change.

First, the opening of Star Wars. Understand that nothing like it had appeared on the screen before. Very well filmed. Awesome visual effects, sound, and music.

Second, the ghost twins from The Shining. Again, great cinematography (note the lines of perspective), incredible score.

Lastly, the ending of Lost in Translation. Love how you can't hear what Murray is saying. Fate loves a jest. Great music, too. My wife loved this movie.

    • Oh, I almost forgot. The Phoebe Cates pool scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Everyone in my generation knows EXACTLY THE SCENE I'M TALKING ABOUT!

    • Show All
    • Susan Martin in The Patriot
