I've never watched those movies, but one that always manages to make me laugh is The Heat. It stars Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, and is basically about a DEA agent who teams up with a police officer to catch a drug dealer. It's rated R, but there's not really anything in there except for swearing. I also like the film The Way Way Back. If I remember correctly, it features an awkward teenage boy who is visiting his aunt with his mother and her boyfriend. He comes out of his shell when he gets a part-time job at a water park, and other things happen... I remember referring to it as a "feel good movie" to a friend, so yeah. Hope you feel better by the way.
