I was born in 89. Wish I was born a little earlier so I could experience more. I remember late 90s and It was awesome. Now I feel so old lol.

  • They should be remade with all female casts with stories that tell of the empowerment of modern women.

  • Raging Bull just squeezes in there - I am nearly sure it was 1980, The Shining, Scarface, Dead Poet's Society and Rain Man.

Oh as for why they were good, because of no/little CGI - sets and models had to be built and people had to act.

These day's they're just remaking the golden oldies and trying to cash in.

  • I love a lot of classic 80's movies.

    Back to the future
    Die Hard
    Nightmare on Elm Street
    Gremlins
    Predator
    The Terminator
    Ferris Bueller's Day off
    Star wars: Empire Strikes back
    And more :D

So many brilliant movies in one decade :D
