What is your all-time favorite classic movie?

Does anyone else miss the days when movies were all really good? When comedies were actually funny? When almost every movie was an instant classic and had the potential to develop a cult following? From my knowledge, a good portion of these movies were produced in the '70's and '80's.

My favorite film of all time would have to be the 1985 classic, "The Breakfast Club."

What is/are your favorite classic movie(s)?

  • 'Vertigo' was Hitchcock's mostt penetraing psychological drama and the historical background is without parallel in Hollywood, before and certainly not since!

  • I liked fiddler on the roof quite a bit as well as the original king kong. The outsiders was pretty decent too as far as semi-badly acted 80's gang movies go.
