My guy mentioned that we girls criticize each other more than guys about appearance. Most of the time, this is true. Why do we do this and more importantly, why does our culture judge us so much harsher than guys when it comes to appearance? Is it tradition? Expectations? Is it learned? Is it biological? Any opinions will be appreciated. Thanks!
Gurl, men don't get the advantage of wearing makeup to hide all the shit that'd make their ugly asses unbearable to the eye, just be thankful if you ever look like Skeletor in the mirror when you wake up in the morning, you can cover it up.
Though if you DON'T want to cover it up, I'd actually be fully behind you on such a decision.
The same reason men are hard on each other about how successful they are. COMPETITION. Men know women want successful men, and women know men want HOT women
