Can the term 'cross-dresser' be used for a woman?

It is commonly known that men who dress like women are called cross-dressers. But since it is socially acceptable for women to wear men's clothing, can this term 'cross-dresser' ever be used for a woman

Opinions from both men and women are welcome.

  • Yes. As opposed to simply dressing in male clothes, I think the majority emulate male mannerisms, as well.
