My friend's getting married soon and I obviously have to wear a dress. The thing is I don't usually wear those things so I only have 2 and I always use them for fancy stuff. I feel bad because I have several pictures with them on fb but I can't afford a new one, specially if I'm barely gonna wear it.
I'm trying to see if I can borrow one from a friend but I've had no luck so far.

I don't even notice, and I honestly wouldn't care if I did. What's the point of buying a dress if you're only going to wear it once or twice (unless it's like a wedding dress)? Sounds like a waste of money, to me! Wear what you've already got, and I'm sure you'll look lovely and no one will think any less of you. Anyone who'd judge you for that has no concept of financial responsibility, haha.
But if you're bored with the dresses you own, which is valid, keep trying to borrow one or search Google to see if you have any thrift stores nearby. I got a prom dress for $30 at a thrift store, it fit perfectly, and it was beautiful. Definitely worth checking.1
