I'm MORE ok with it if the guy has *actual* lumberjack skills. Like, if he could cut down some of those trees behind him in the pic... and pretty much build a cabin NOW... then, yeah, fine. I still won't *like* it -- and I still won't be attracted to a guy who has it -- but, at least I could see it as not TOTALLY being a poser in that case. (:
More generally, it just seems like a way to compensate for a weak jaw. If that's what the guy is actually doing, then, okay, it makes sense. If the guy actually has a nice jawline, though, it's idiotic -- it'd be like a woman hiding a nice hourglass figure under a giant overcoat that's 5 sizes too big.
It looks freakin sexy if as redeye pointed out: he could actually be a lumberjack, and I like it on those 40 yr old men. I would turn to watch that guy walk the street before a set of abs would ever get my attention.
I grew a beard because I was going through something, not because I wanted to be a trendy hipster like the man bun people. I had to shave my beard because the aggressive hipsters are starting to to ruin another style. it seems like everywhere I turn the hipster are right behind me
