My knowledge of fashion is poor hence the title. I saw a guy wearing a vintage looking military jacket with his casual clothes. I thought it look good. But I'm wondering... will people think I'm in the army? Maybe he was? I don't want to disrespect soldiers and have people think I'm one of those stolen valor scum.
Apologies if the link doesn't work. And I know this is probably a REALLY stupid question but I just want to get it confirmed before considering splashing out £40+... also let me know if they look good or not.

If you weren't in the military you shouldn't be wearing it. Thats just my opinion though.2

So long as it's an empty and you're not acting like you're a soldier (when you're not), it should be fine. It's just a jacket (with a nice look and functional design).
Now, if you're applying insignia, really making it look like the jacket of an actual soldier, and parading your awesome "veteran" self with all "your brave deeds" and "glorious feats" of valor... Now, you've got a problem.2
