I'm a guy with 3-4 inches of super curly hair on top (sides and back are pretty short) and I've tried everything to straighten it with no luck. I've used relaxers twice over the last 6 months and while it's made my hair much less curly and more wavy, it's still not straight like I want it to be. The only way I can make it straight is a lot f gel but that kills all the volume and it ends up just looking weird, plus there's always those few hairs that curl. I've considered keratin straightening but I don't know if that's more powerful than an extra strength relaxer. Any advice?

Well, you could always get it chemically straightened professionally at a hairdressers. That will probably be expensive though.2
