Is running during fall or winter good?

Would that be positive or negative?

Because I figure since it's not summer you wouldn't be burning as many calories.

Im asking because I wanna go ahead a try getting into shape.

  • If you're going to do it, do it indoors on a treadmill.

If you do it outside, you will get snow inside the bottom your shoes, slip on ice, and catch a cold/flu. You will also feel pretty alone out there.

    • Cold weather doesn't make you sick. Bacteria/Viruses make you sick.

    • Cold weather severely lowers your immunity. Bacteria/viruses are EVERYWHERE, thus jogging in cold weather is like asking for a cold.

  • you need to exercise all year round. And you'll still burn lots of calories, it's cold so your body burns them to keep the body temperature up.

  • Yes because you don't overheat as easy during the cold weather. Just watch out for ice during the winter.
