Is basketball a good way to get flab off of stomach?

I have a decent six pack but I get a little flab once in a while (ya know when you can pull the thin layer of skin up and down). I do ab workouts and play basketball at least every other day.

I sweat a lot and am pretty much all over the court. I play point guard and I love to run and cut.

Is basketball a good way to work toward my ideal body type?

  • It's definitely a tool to burn off the fat. Your diet has a lot do with it as well, but since I don't have a six pack, I'm not the expert.

  • it most certainly is, I speak from experience :D cardio is an excellent fat burner, plus for basketball you'll be doing some weight training. invest in some whey protien and you'll have your ideal body before you know it. good luck :)

  • Probably, it's a really fast paced game, which is great for fat burning.
