Hmm well puberty hit and I became a tall girl, I'm about 5'9/5'10, so many boys can be shorter or the same height without heels. A few years ago this bothered me , I was convinced I could only wear flats, worrying that I'd be taller than a lot of guys and they wouldn't be into me. One day, I stopped caring. I decided oh f*** it, I'm tall and life is too short (ha) not to enjoy everything you have as a blessing. So from then on I held my head high and wore my heels because I love wearing them and I love being tall. It's a thing that requires confidence however to work, wearing heels and stooping, complaining about pain or lack of comfort is definitely not sexy. Its a thing that takes practise of course, I got to a point where uggs gave me blisters and not my heels so its definitely about what you're used to. I even wore wedges when I fractured my ankle (it took the weight off of my ankles thus was less painful, oh the irony). At the end of the day I realized it shouldn't really matter, if a guy thinks you're hot, he thinks you're hot, if the height puts him off then he's not confident enough in himself as a man and isn't worth your time cos if he's genuinely interested in YOU the height won't bother him :). I adore heels, they are within reason comfortable, I love the way they enhance my body and outfits, my legs are long enough without the heels, but the heels just help to flaunt. People insist why do you wear heels? You're tall enough! I reply that I don't do it for the height.
