“Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose.”
What Girls Said 4
they are synonyms-but usually they're differentiated by seeing fashion as passing trends,while style would be classic and timeless-but that's not an actual definition
Fashion is usually trends and style is what you wear all the time.
fashion is a trend and style is somehting that stays the same.
fashion are trends and what is nice right now, the tendencies
style cna be good and bad
What Guys Said 3
Ithink of fashion as the design part of how one dresses, the 'look' one is trying to project.
Style refers more to the nationality or social group your clothes identify you with. Hippie style, goth style..no one would say goth fashion!
French fashion..but people don't say French style, because there is no one French style for all ages and social groups in France.
Sure people sometimes use the terms interchangeably, but not people who are really 'into' fashion!
Fashion has to do with what is -in- fashion.
Style is more about aesthetics.
Style = timeless and what compliments the body
Fashion = temporary trend
