GAG, Portuguese Tarts?

GAG, Portuguese Tarts? I can't believe how underrated these tarts are! My friends have never had one up until recently where I went to the bakery and purchased some for them.

So GAG tell me, have you ever eaten one of these or let alone know about them?
For the ones who've tried them, how was it?
I'm itching to know how underrated these guys really are. Give your opinions below.

  • They're called "Pastéis de Nata" and they're absolutely delicious!
    I've tasted lots of them.
There's a restaurant here where you can buy them and it's a place where every tourist should go.
    It's worth trying.

Don't listen to the girl who's saying they're nothing. She probably never tasted them.

  • I holiday in Porugal most years. Every morning I go for an early morning walk on the beach then in for an espresso and two freshly baked NATA'S. Still warm and the pastry should be light and flaky.

    • Those look good as well.

    • I think i can make a fair comparison:

Those egg tarts = the older pre historic men apes
The "Pasteis de Nata" = modern man

      No exageration.

  • I can't say I have heard of them much less tried them

  • If made by good pastries, it's something you will hardly forget
What i can say is that, it's one of the best things you can eat in Portugal.
