I've been vegan for like 4days and it's not that bad, plus I juice as well. I feel cleaner and overall better, but the occasional craving's kick in. Eventually they will go away in some days I've been told. It's pretty hard I won't lie, yet easy at the same time.
No. I don't think I'd mind being vegan as I have no problem giving up meat and cannot eat most animal by-products anyway.
I was just reading about the archeology of pre-Colombian America. When some Indians switched from hunting and gathering to a sedentary lifestyle with a diet based on maize, beans and squash they became three inches shorter and their skeletons showed signs of malnutrition.
No, I am a vegetarian though. I don't eat anything with eggs or honey either. I cut out all dairy but I can't part with cheese... cheese (2 pieces, American) and a whole deli dill pickle on a kaiser roll are life, oh and upside down Pizza... so I think I've went as far as I can.
Personally, I don't agree with veganism because there is basically no way to get protein. I also think it's really obsessive- a lot of people (not all, but a lot) previously had eating disorders and I think while it's better to be vegan than suffer from a disorder, it's still obsessing over your food a lot. Just my opinion.
